The Women behind Walsh Whiskey Distillery

To mark International Women’s Day, we’re celebrating the women behind our whiskey. One third of Walsh Whiskey Distillery employees are female, and we’re sure that is going to grow as we do too. The ladies that work in all areas of Walsh Whiskey Distillery are an integral part in the success of Walsh Whiskey Distillery. From HR to Finance, Marketing to Operations, you’ll find these ladies at the backbone of every project, initiative and decision.

From the very creation of the company, women were leading the way with Rosemary Walsh at the helm alongside her husband Bernard. Since 1999 we have built an award-winning business with an award-winning team. Lisa Ryan, our Distillery Manager, was crowned Distillery Manager of the Year recently and has pushed Walsh Whiskey Distillery to become more innovative, firstly with the launch of the Writers’ Tears Organic Pot Still whiskey and with other exciting new product developments in the future.
