Marks & Spencer Adds Award-Winning The Irishman & Writers’ Tears - Red Head Irish Whiskeys to Portfolio

Royal Oak, Carlow, Ireland – 02 February, 2017: Walsh Whiskey Distillery is delighted to announce that Marks & Spencer have added more of its whiskeys to its premium spirits portfolio with the addition of both The Irishman – Founder’s Reserve and Writers’ Tears – Red Head.  The multinational retailer has listed Writers’ Tears – Copper Pot in all of its 625 stores since 2013.

The multi award-winning The Irishman – Founder’s Reserve is a unique take on the old Irish Pot Still Whiskey and is the original and signature blend created by Walsh Whiskey Distillery founder Bernard Walsh. It is a blend of 70% Single Malt and 30% Single Pot Still.

The Writers’ Tears – Red Head, first released in August 2016, is an exquisite triple-distilled, single malt, aged in sherry butts seasoned with the finest Oloroso sherry, giving it a distinct, rich, ruby red hue.
